Chinstrap penguin, Pygoscelis antarcticus
On assignment for an Antarctic expedition company I photographed these chinstrap penguins making their way towards the frozen arched edge of an iceberg at quite a distance from our ship. I like the juxtaposition of the tiny form of the penguins seemingly vulnerable in a dramatic icy Antarctic landscape.
