Pelican quarrel

The Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus) is often attracted to boat ramps in search of an easy meal from fishers cleaning their catch of fish. This trio of Pelicans seemed to be a tangle of beaks as they squabbled over a fish frame discarded by a local fisherman. The interesting interaction lasted less than a second before the Pelican on the left raised its head above the water and swallowed its winnings.
