For 10 minutes on winter afternoons, light penetrating a small rainforest canopy gap created this scene. On most visits the exposure contrast was either too strong or too weak to get the shot I envisaged. However, persistence pays. The scene’s fleeting existence and probably being the only person to observe it are appealing.
