Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo

JUNIOR

I was mowing the lawn when a pair of Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus latirostris)flew into a neighbouring tree. I left the mower running as they didn’t seem to mind the noise, ran to get the camera and was able to get within metres of these majestic birds. Moments later, they were gone.
