Fish tails – Eastern Pomfreds

INTERPRETIVE

Eastern Pomfreds (Schuettea scalaripinnis) are a common schooling fish along the shallower northern New South Wales coast. Their bright-coloured tails are almost mesmerising to look at, as the colour patterns they display change back and forth from uniform to disarray.
