Whale Shark surfacing

We know precious little about these solitary leviathans that roam our coastline. This image was taken during a tagging expedition by the Australian Institute of Marine Science. Scientists were tagging the Whale Sharks in order to gain more knowledge of their behaviour and migration patterns. I was a volunteer taking photographs for the expedition.
