The New Zealand Sea Lion is an elusive creature, with less than 200 individuals remaining on the mainland. Despite hearing of several places to see them, I had several failed attempts at even catching a glimpse. Finally, my luck changed and I saw a group, including these two playful youngsters, and got this shot.
