Northland Green Gecko

The Northland Green Gecko, Naultinus grayii, is named after the 19th century British zoologist John Edward Gray. Naultinus grayii’s elegant form is highlighted by a blue mouth lining and bright red tongue. New Zealand gecko populations continue to be threatened by habitat destruction and introduced mammalian predators.
