The morning sun backlights a splendid specimen of the Giant Sun Orchid in the open woodlands of Sympathy Hills. This orchid can grow up to a metre in height as it competes and thrives for full sunlight. It is often vulnerable to the browsing wallaby, so its best displays can be short lived.
