Fly blowing a bubble

ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR

On warm days I noticed that flies would rest after feeding and start blowing bubbles, repeatedly blowing and drawing the bubble back in. I believe flies do this to clean their mouthparts. The fly was close to a Eucalyptus flower in the background, which was refracted in the bubble.
