Cascade Treefrog

THREATENED SPECIES

Like some other wet-forest frogs, this species suffered significant population declines a few decades ago due to habitat destruction in various forms and, most likely, chytrid fungus. In recent times, however, some populations have increased and it is to be hoped that this will continue.
