The Lord Howe Island lagoon is enclosed by the world’s southernmost barrier reef. In the shadowy world beneath the Old Settlement Beach jetty unusual species come into close contact. This swirling mass of Striped Catfish with the fiery display of a Common Lionfish was an exciting chance encounter.
