This and other Ospreys were nesting on a mobile crane above a construction site. The birds were so persistent that the company eventually contacted wildlife authorities about how to build a nest box. Apparently, several Norfolk Pines had been removed along Pumicestone Passage – evidently prime real estate for both Ospreys and developers.
