Numbat

THREATENED SPECIES – Runner-up

I had my first numbat encounter in 2005 and soon became concerned about their conservation status and their unfamiliarity to many Australians. I think photography is a valuable tool for sharing one’s passion for beautiful creatures such as the numbat and for introducing unfamiliar species to a wider audience.
