This image was taken on a Lime tree in my front garden. Each year these bugs arrive and suckle from the plant. I decided that if they were going to ruin my Lime crop each year the least they could do was to pose for a photo. While trying to photograph individual specimens, I noticed the eggs and the leaf’s translucency, so I decided to try to shoot with the flash on one side of the leaf and the camera on the other. This was the result.
