Newly moulted Leaf-footed Bug nymph

ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR

I was on the ground photographing a beetle when I saw a flash of orange to the right of me. I quickly moved the tripod, focused and captured a few images. The Leaf-footed Bug nymph had just moulted, leaving behind his shed skin. The colour difference between the new and the old was quite striking.
