Lily and Damselfly

BOTANICAL

In March the rising sun lights up the face of an apartment complex adjacent to the old botanical gardens. The light reflected from this building made a lovely background for a single Lily pad floating in the nearby duck pond. It was a favourite perch of this Damselfly, and I had many opportunities to capture the insect in flight as it chased away competitors for its territory.
