Landscape organ

This image was captured during a flight over Mt Cook and the Franz Josef and Tasman glaciers. The shades of blue are caused by particles of glacial rock held in suspension in the meltwater as it flows out from beneath the glacier into the rivers and lake. It reminded me of arteries flowing into a great heart; hence the title.
