Jack in jelly

ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR

While doing a dive safety stop at around five metres depth, I noticed a colourful Jellyfish pulsating through the water with the tail of a fish sticking out of its ‘business end’. The juvenile fish was using the Jellyfish for cover. When I approached, the fish repeatedly swam out of and darted back into its hiding place, as if warning me to stay away.
