Estuarine Crocodile portrait

Photos of Estuarine Crocodiles are easy to take. Since shooting them was outlawed in the 1970s and their numbers exploded, they now have little fear of boats or people. This medium-sized animal swam across the bow of our tinny, approaching too quickly for me to keep focus on its eye. Instead, I spun the focus to its closest setting (7 metres) and fired a single shot as it passed.
