Don’t shoot me

INTERPRETIVE

A phalanx of ‘research’ harpoons target a hapless Humpback Whale calf. The crude blood-red graffiti is a plaintive plea not to die for ‘science’. The monochrome image reflects the tenor of a debate that should belong to a past era when whales were taken to the brink of extinction in the name of our economic welfare.
